Half price Fire Sticks are best deal in Ireland’s first Amazon Prime Day sale

The Fire Stick has a big Prime Day discount

Amazon has launched its first ever Prime Day sale on its Irish site and the best deal so far is nearly half price 4K Fire Stick.

The shopping giant has cut the price of thousands of items on the brand new Amazon.ie website and we have trawled through the deals to find the best bargains for Irish shoppers.

The deals are only available to people with an Amazon Prime subscription but you can get a free trial here to access all of the deals.

The Fire Stick 4K usually costs €80 but is now just €47.99 in the sale. The top-of-the-range Fire Stick Max includes 4K Ultra HD, with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and immersive Dolby Atmos audio. It can stream in 4K and is WiFi 6e enabled for smoother streaming.

Fire Sticks can be used to watch streaming apps including Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, while VPNs can also allow for people to stream TV from other countries.

Other top deals include a half price Ring doorbell reduced to just €59.99, down from €119, and 38% off the Echo Show, the video screen version of the popular Echo Dot. The Show is priced at €107.99 in the Amazon sale.

The Amazon.ie Prime Day also has a dedicated section to Irish brands including homemade skincare brands, Irish-made toys and Ryanair-friendly cabin bags. You can see all of the Irish brand deals here.

Shoppers in Ireland can get the best of both worlds by also shopping the UK Amazon website, where there are thousands more deals on everything from TV sets to vacuum cleaners.

The UK site includes big discounts on Ninja air fryers, Samsung S25 phones and Kindle devices as the pick of the sales.

The Amazon Prime Day sale began at midnight on 8 July and runs for four days until 11 July.

Throughout the sale Amazon will introduce breaking 'lightning deals' that only last until stock sells out or the deal expires. All of the deals will be available for Amazon Prime members only.
