This looks very cool…

Apple’s online store has released a number of new products this week with the pick of the bunch being a new colour for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The special edition phone will help benefit (PRODUCT)RED, the AIDS charity which Apple has worked with a number of times in the past.

The phones will boast a bright red aluminum finish and the same tech specs as their predecessors.

Apple also announced a new video-editing app called Clips, which will be available for free in April.

The new iPhone edition will be available to order worldwide from Friday this week alongside a smaller iPad Pro, which features a brighter display and an increased performance, for a cheaper price than the original.

Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc Tim Cook said: “Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

The PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 7 and 7 Plus launch this Friday, March 24, in 128GB and 256GB wand are available on the Apple Store.
