This week we shared with you this brilliant graph illustrating the difference between ‘Patty’s Day’ and ‘Paddy’s Day’, and now this Irish company is seeking to eradicate the former completely in a rather ruthless fashion.

Daniel Nugent, from the Dublin-based creative agency In The Company of Huskies, has sent JOE his company’s latest innovation, known as #nomorepatty.

Tired of the numerous global mentions of ‘St. Patty’s Day’ (of which there were apparently one billion offences in 2015 on Twitter alone), the business has created a Google Chrome Extension to replace every mispronounced ‘Patty’ into Paddy.

And you can install it right here.

Speaking about the creation, Daniel Nugent, who said they will be using the collected data to see who are the world’s biggest offenders, said:

“We Irish are hugely proud of the fact that St.Patrick’s Day is celebrated the world over and lovingly known as “Paddy’s Day”.

“So, over the coming days, we’ll be spreading the name of Paddy across social media and hopefully sparking a movement to drive “Patty” away once and for all, just like St. Patrick did to those snakes.”
