Playstation Virtual Reality has arrived in Ireland and this is your chance to try it out

Virtual Reality is here…

According to that Zuckerberg lad, virtual reality is the future.

Luckily for us, that future is now available with the new Playstation VR and we got a chance to get some hands-on time with it at the brand new pop-up location on Dublin’s Dame Lane.

Here’s a GIF of me looking like a right tit as I play a demo of The London Heist. It was class.

That’s probably important to note; if you’re going to be playing this with your mates on the couch, be prepared to look like an overly-enthusiastic eejit. Sure listen, it’s all part of the fun and well worth it.

The experience was visceral to say the least.

We had an opportunity to play the really slick Batman VR game (it’s a really nice feeling pretending that you’re Batman) and then on to a horror game called Until Dawn: Rush of Blood…

It may look like a bit of craic from the above clip, but guess what? It’s not. It’s terrifying.

It’s absolutely no craic being scared shiteless and thinking you’re trapped in the dark surrounded by evil zombie clowns. I’ve never known fear like it. I’d no idea a video game could do this to me.

Seriously, the entire experience is fantastic and so immersive; it might as well be real life.

If you’re in Dublin and fancy a go, pop along to the very cool Playstation VR demo space on Dame Lane from 12 – 16 October.

All you have to do to attend is sign up by clicking right here.

I wasn’t the only one to check it out… Give the video below a watch to see what all the fuss is about.

Playstation VR is available in Ireland from 13 October.
