If you have any friends in Australia, the UK or abroad anywhere you’ve probably used Skype on numerous occasions. The hilarity of your parents forgetting that there’s a camera is always great and thankfully the robot signal-breaking-up voice days seem to be a thing of the past, God bless you The Internet.
However, Skype have decided to up their game and have a go at cracking the video-messaging market with the release of their new app called Skype Qik. The app similar to Vine but it can record videos up to 42-seconds long and there’s also a Snapchat-inspired self-destruct option which is very handy.
