Snapchat have added a very useful new feature that you may not have heard about

Snapchat

Perhaps this will ease the anger levelled at them recently…

The whole Snapchat redesign caused somewhat of a kerfuffle when it was brought in back in January and it still isn’t sitting well with some people.

But at this stage, you’ve only two options. Put up with it, or shut up about it.

Amongst the sea of changes that were swept into the app, were some features that you may not have seen just yet, either because they flew under the radar or you simply couldn’t find them in the new design.

The feature we’re talking about is a “Do not disturb” option that users can turn on for their friends on the app.

It’s similar to the feature available on iPhones to mute notifications from everyone, although the function on Snapchat is a little bit more complicated to turn on.

The feature is only available on the latest update, so you’ll have to make sure you’re up to date otherwise the option will be unavailable to you.

In your friends list, choose a friend and hold down on their name and it should bring you up a list of options.
