That’s one pricey watch

That’s one pricey watch.

Apple hosted one of their traditional big events in San Francisco today and the vast majority of focus was on the much anticipated Apple Watch that has been in the works for quite some time.

Of course, it’s no ordinary watch and can do loads of great things like display texts, answer phone calls, let you know your heart rate and even doodle on the screen and share it with a friend.

The watch will go on sale in several countries on April 24 and will be available to pre-order on April 10 and while we’re not sure as of yet when exactly it will be available in Ireland, we can figure out how much is it going to cost.

There are three versions of the watch and each version comes in two different sizes. Prices for the Apple Watch Sport will start at $349 (approx. €320) for the small screen version and $399 (€367) for the big screen version.

Prices for the Apple Watch will start at $549 (€505) for the small-screen version and €599 (€550) for the big screen version, while if you feel like going all-out, you can get your hands on an Apple-Watch Edition, made of 18 karat gold, for anything between $10,000 (€9,200) and $17,000. (€15,665).

Will the little thing be worth it? You’ll just have to ‘watch’ this space. *JOE goes to get coat
