A new survey has found that social media influencers are the least trusted people in Ireland, with only one in 10 people trusting those who work in that profession. Social media influencers are all the rage these days, with many of the biggest influencers in Ireland having hundreds of thousands of followers across a number of social networks. But as loyal as so many of their followers are, it seems as though they are not the most trusted folk. The results of the survey didn't exactly spell out a good result for politicians either, who are only trusted by 22% of the people who were questioned as part of the survey. Nurses were the most trusted profession, with 94% of people surveyed saying that they would trust people in that profession. Doctors, teachers and scientists came in not too far behind. You can have a look at the results of the survey in full here: https://twitter.com/IpsosMRBI/status/1090971034403160064 The survey was conducted by Ipsos MRBI - a global market and opinion research specialist, who are based out of Blackrock in Dublin.
