Some evil genius has combined Flappy Bird and 2048 to make the world's most frustrating game
Each of these games can drive you into a rage. Combining them into Flappy48 brings you to a whole new level of aggro.
Since Flappy Bird bit the dust from the games world, there has been a flood of versions released to try and surf the wave of success created by the hyper-addictive original. Most have been pretty rubbish but now a hybrid of Flappy Bird and another smartphone sensation has appeared to take over your life.
2048, as you probably know, is a game where you have to combine multiples of 2 to eventually create 2048. And yes, it is hugely addictive too.
Now a guy called Dan Moran, a computer student from Canada, has combined both games to create Flappy48. Available to play here (you'll need to have Unity Web Player installed to play it) you have to guide your little number through those famous gaps by tapping space, but you also need to add up the numbers too, so the string of numbers you are trying to get through the gaps gets bigger and bigger as you wait for the right number combo to appear.
This gif, from Mashable, will give you an idea of what the gameplay is like.
After a few minutes of playing, we have already flung our laptop at the wall, so we're writing this on the office spare. We can't risk playing it any more for fear of wrecking more office computers.
If you do decide to play it, we apologise in advance for the frustration we have brought into your life.
