Slack is the fastest growing start-up in history and is proving serious competition for the future of email.
With that in mind, Butterfield has not held back on his view of his man rival at the Web Summit, saying that “email is a terrible way to communicate.”

While Butterfield was hesitant to confirm if Slack will be available for public use in the future, this is a company that is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
