After over 6,000 entries covering 20 different categories, the Huawei Snapys award ceremony will take place in City Hall in Dublin on Wednesday night (October 28).
The show will celebrate the work of everyday photographers in Ireland who shared their snaps on Instagram using the hashtag #HuaweiSnapys.
The 20 categories are: Food, Fashion, Sport & Leisure, Music & Entertainment, Arts & Culture, Career, Health & Beauty, Selfie, Family, Friends, Humour, Animals, Ireland, Global Photos, Night Time Photos, Instagram Video, Charity, Technology & Science, No Filter, Wild Card.
There will be great prizes for the winners of each category but the prize for the overall winner is a whopper.
They’ll be crowned King or Queen of the Snapys plus they’ll win a return trip to China, an exclusive trip to Huawei HQ in Shenzen, a trip to Hong Kong with a personal tour guide at the ‘Home of Huawei.’
The winner will also become the social media ambassador for Huawei, along with access to their latest products.
