This is how much it costs Apple to make an iPhone 7

Surprising…

Apple revealed their brand new iPhone 7 earlier this month to much fanfare as people queued long hours to secure the phone.

The device rolled out some new features and changes including the elimination of the headphone jack and waterproofing the device and if you fancy investing in the new model, it will set you back a pretty penny.

The base model 32GB iPhone 7 will cost you €698 with that price increasing up to €930 when you buy the 256GB model.

But how much does it cost Apple to make each individual iPhone? The people over at CNN Money investigated and they think they’ve got an answer.

The combined other parts of the phone add up to €105.

That means the total cost of the iPhone to make is €260.50c, which means they’re making a tidy little profit on their gadget.
