Tinder Plus launches with new features but there’s bad news for people over 28 who may use it

Some people would swipe left on these plans

If you’ve ever accidentally swiped left on the potential love of your life or wondered what the profiles from users in foreign countries look like then Tinder Plus might just be for you.

The popular dating app has just launched its new product with a host of new goodies for all you Tindererererers.

You now have a second chance for love and undo a rookie mistake because the app now gives you the ability to undo a swipe left.

If you rejected Jennifer Lawrence or Ryan Gosling then they won’t be heartbroken anymore. Swipe right and then ask them out for a pint.

You can also look further afield for matches, including foreign countries, so if the Irish girls and guys aren’t floating your boat then there’s always new fish in the foreign seas.

We imagine that some Irish men might be using this feature in a bid to rekindle those Polish romances from Euro 2012 while Irish ladies might be interested in seeing what the French or Spanish lads are looking like.

Users of Tinder Plus will also have an unlimited number of right swipes so they’re now at liberty to swipe away until their thumbs fall off.

For those interested, the price is £3.99 (€5.47) a month but there’s bad news for anyone who’s over 28 because they’re going to be charged a significantly higher rate of £14.99 (€20.56) per month.

The app itself is still going to be free, but users on the current version wont be able to swipe right for an unlimited amount of times anymore.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, CEO Sean Rad sad that they hoped the charges would bring about “better usage patterns” and that “these features aren’t something that everyone is going to want to use, and we sort of don’t want everyone to use them.”

So what do you think of all these changes?
