Have you played that deadly game everyone is talking about called Watch Dogs? No, you haven’t, because it has not be released yet. Even still, there’s a Watch Dogs movie in the pipeline.

Both Sony and Ubisoft look to be pinning a lot of their hopes on the Watch Dogs franchise as the film and television divisions from both companies have announced they’re working on a full length feature film.

“Since both Sony and Ubisoft have movie and video game branches, this deal creates exceptional opportunities for us to merge the realms of the story-based cinematic experience with the interaction of the video game,” said Jean-Julien Baronnet, chief executive officer, Ubisoft Motion Pictures.

“In addition, Sony Pictures and New Regency have deep production expertise and are letting us maintain a strong creative voice in the film’s development. Together, we’re confident we can deliver a movie that builds upon the excitement that the game is already generating.”

No word yet as to when we can expect to see the movie, which will feature a completely different plot from the game, but it’s sure to be pretty epic. We’ll have to wait and see…

Until then here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be able to do in the game:
