Video: Check out Sunset Overdrive’s ‘behind the scenes’ to the live action trailer

According to the guys at Xbox, this is “the live action trailer for the game that’s too big for a live action trailer...” Oooookay.

Insomniac Game’s Sunset Overdrive is shaping up to be the craziest game in the Xbox One line up thanks to the players’ ability to grind on almost every surface imaginable, along with it’s soda spewing mutants and absolutely wacky weapons. So how do you make a live action trailer for a games that defies the laws of, well, everything? You don’t, which is exactly what Insomniac Game’s have done with this clever little video. Instead of making a ‘live action’ trailer, they’ve made a ‘behind the scenes’ video for their non-existent live action trailer. Genius. The short also features Marcus Smith, who is both Sunset Overdrive’s co-head developer and an incredibly sound bloke. We’ve met him twice here at JOE and both times he was an absolute gent. Just throwing that out there...
