The PlayStation 4 marketing campaign is underway in earnest now, so here’s the latest TV ad
The ad has certainly caused a bit of discussion after broadcasting in the States last night during Monday Night Football, mainly due to the fact that there is no footage of the console in action during the commercial.
Rather we see real life footage on a pretty epic scale and, as could be expected, it is heavy on the social aspect, with the two gamers playing together, immersed in their games, from shoot ’em ups to racing simulators.
If anyone remembers the ads that were around at the time of the launch of the PlayStation 3 though (with the horse running around a mansion, or whatever that was), then you’ll know that this type of advertising is a bit more Sony’s cup of tea, instead of packing the video full of footage of the console.
They’ve also launched the website PS4: Greatness Awaits where you can check out more hype about the new console through people’s tweets, Instagrams and all that good stuff.
