The official launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag gives us a closer look at Edward Kenway and his merry band of bloodthirsty pirates.
The trailer starts off with commentary from the ferocious Irish pirate, Anne Bonny (above), who speaks to none other than the star of the show, Edward Kenway. We’re hooked already…

It’s a great look at what we can expect from the game including sailing the seven seas (or just the one) while searching for enormous bounties.
We also get to see the notorious English pirate, Blackbeard, who comes out with a particularly brilliant line: “If a man plays the fool, then it’s only fools he’ll persuade, but appear to be the devil and all men will submit.”
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag really does look class and it will be a nice break away from all the first person shooters and zombie games that will be released in the coming weeks. There’s only so much of the undead you can take before they get a little… stale.
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will be released on November 22.
