Cinematic and mysterious, the trailer for Sony’s latest exclusive, The Order: 1886, has us intrigued
Sony have released a trailer for their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886 and it fills us in on the background to the game, which is set in Victorian-Era London.
A secret order of knights are fighting a mysterious and dangerous group of half-breeds; humans who took on animal characteristics centuries ago and have been at war with The Order ever since.
The game is being made by Ready at Dawn Studios and Sony in Santa Monica, who have been putting it together since 2010, and promises to mix cut scenes with player interaction, making the cinematic sequences both more interesting and more important to the game’s story and the player’s success. We’re certainly intrigued to see some gameplay and what the finished project is going to look like, but for now the trailer has our attention.
