We’re scared of dropping our phones out of our hands, so dropping it from more than 100,000 feet isn’t on our to-do list.
Smartphone case designers Urban Armor Gear decided to do just that to prove how good their cases are and it worked.
They sent an iPhone 6 into space on a weather balloon for three hours before returning to earth and the phone was fine.
The freezing cold temperatures saw the phone power off, but when it landed, it was powered back on and it worked perfectly.
