IKEA may have changed the way we shop forever with their new invention…
IKEA are not exactly the company you think of when someone mentions technology. In fact if they were any good with technology, they might have figured out a way to make assembling their furniture easier than open-heart surgery. But this new piece of shopping technology is about to blow the shopping industry wide open, much like a ‘60s journalist with a big scoop. Introducing, the new Ikea bookbookTM, the world’s first collection of glossy furniture and appliances… wait a second. IKEA have just fooled us into thinking they had created this new piece of technology that is going to change the world when literally all they have done is released a new catalogue, much like the standard Argos one. We feel cheated, just like Jason Byrne when he discovered Father Ted's fake hands...
