Ever wondered what Sega Mega Drive classic Sonic would have looked like from the point of view of everyone's favourite blue hedgehog?

The folks at Pipoca visual effects seem to have a great bit of talent at their disposal if their YouTube videos are anything to go by, and their latest effort sees the Mega Drive classic Sonic The Hedgehog get reworked to a first-person point of view. It runs us through the first level, Green Hill Zone, and it contains the classic moment that we all remember from playing the game, where you hit a spike and shout out "Ahhhh my rings!". We eagerly await the video where they give us a first person view of what it was like to see the level from Tails' point of view, but until then you can check out the rest of their hugely impressive vids on their YouTube page.
