Video: The first trailer for the latest Assassin's Creed game looks incredible
You might not even be finished Assassin's Creed IV yet, but it looks like V is on the way
Last week some screenshots claiming to be from the next Assassin's Creed title hit the internet, but there wasn't much in the way of any official word on it, until this weekend.
PlayStation and Ubisoft realised that the jig was up and they needed to let the cat out of the bag, so they've given us this pre-alpha footage of new game Unity as a little teaser. Jokingly, they note that they weren't quite ready to show this title yet but Abstergo are forcing their hand, but added that this is a title that they've been working on for three years already, meaning it's a good way down the line towards release, which is expected to be later this year across all formats.
Set during the French Revolution (we think, therefore it is), the game will take you to the streets of Paris, and this short teaser focuses on the environments and the world in which it's set, which are always a huge part of the Assassin's Creed franchise. No word yet on whether there will be a super-special-bonus level where you get to eat cake though...
