Ubisoft have released a video showing off the amazing graphics featured in the PC version of the upcoming open-world action game Watch Dogs.

Wow… That’s all we have to say about this video that features commentary by the Watch Dogs lead PC engineer Paul Vlasie.

In the video above, Vlasie discusses how Ubisoft Montreal worked with graphics company Nvidia and how the game features Nvidia’s HBAO Plus (Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion) technology.

“By working with Nvidia we really want to make sure PC gamers will be able to enjoy and explore the most realistic and visually stunning world environment ever created,” Vlasie says.

The HBAO Plus technology adds more realistic shadows around objects that obstruct light, while Nvidia’s TXAA technology will reduce the ‘flicker’ that sometimes appears around certain objects.

It looks like an absolutely stunning game and we’ll be looking forward to playing it when it’s released in Ireland on May 27.
