Video: These are Ireland’s top ten most viewed YouTube videos of all time

Are we the only ones who have never seen ‘Charlie bit my finger’ before?

Hard as it might be to believe because it feels like it’s been around for 100 years, YouTube turns 10 this year.

The anniversary of the video sharing site was roundly celebrated at the end of last month to mark the date that the first video was uploaded onto the site on April 23, 2005.

A lot of cat videos have followed in the time since.

This month, however, marks the tenth anniversary of the first beta test of the site so it’s time to give it some well-deserved kudos all over again.

Google have done just that by releasing the top ten videos and the top ten music videos that have been viewed by Irish people on YouTube in the last ten years.

You’re probably well familiar with plenty of the videos on the list below, although we find it hard to believe that one of our personal favourites didn’t get a mention…
