With the release of the PlayStation 4 just around the corner, here’s a look back at some brilliant facts about the first ever Sony console
We’ve been incredibly excited about the release of the PlayStation 4 and getting our hands on shiny new graphics and incredible games, but we’ve also been thinking back on some of the most fantastic moments we’ve enjoyed with the Sony consoles of the past.
It seems we’re not the only ones, as the folks behind YouTube account V Sauce 3 were also in the same frame of mind, and made this brilliant video about some of the most surprising facts surrounding the first PlayStation.
Obviously, it’s hugely impressive that it had 512 times more power than Apollo 11’s guidance computer, and the fact that the memory card only held 1MB is also astonishing when you consider it now takes 8GB to simply play a game like GTA V.
