Back in 2014, Warner Brothers Interactive released Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor, which gave players the opportunity to experience The Lord Of The Rings universe in a brand new way.
The game went on to sell millions of copies and was declared Game Of The Year by a number of publications.
Now we’re getting our first look at the follow-up, which tells the story of a ring being forged to balance out the power of the One True Ring, and potentially give the wearer the ability to defeat the rebuilt armies being used by The Great Deceiver.
While impressive looking – and it’s always great to get back into the Tolkien world – it doesn’t show any actual in-game footage, but we don’t have long to wait for that, with a proper gameplay trailer set to be release on 8 March.
Meanwhile the game itself is scheduled for release this August.
