YouTube’s new gaming site is about to double the time you spend procrastinating

As if we needed a new way to procrastinate.

YouTube is set to launch its own dedicated gaming video site in the UK and US tomorrow.

The world’s most regularly-used video-hosting website has had a ‘Coming Soon’ page entitled ‘YouTube Gaming’ online since June of this year, but it looks like that page will finally bear some fruit tomorrow.

While YouTube will not be in the business of making games, the YouTube Gaming site will be specifically used for live-streaming games, allowing users to watch video games being played, commentated upon or to upload their own video game adventures.

Gaming is an extremely popular genre on YouTube, and users like PewDiePie have made millions of dollars simply by providing commentary on videos of himself playing video games.

Now that YouTube is committed to developing this element of the site, it’s about time you quit that pesky job and finally do what you were born to do: play video games, make jokes and become a millionaire.
