07/01 Tonight’s Telly

Pick of the night: Michael McIntyre: Live & Laughing, Comedy Central, 9.00pm.

Stand-up comedy performed in front of a sell-out crowd at London's Hammersmith Apollo. The show features humorous observations on becoming a father, life on the road, and the `man drawer' in every house, where males keep those essential items they are sure they will need again.

Sporting highlight: Rugbai Beo, TG4 from 7.25pm.

Leinster v Ospreys (kick-off 7.35pm). Coverage of tonight's Magners League clash at the RDS Arena, where the teams meet for the second time this season. The reverse fixture at the Liberty Stadium saw the Welsh outfit claim a 19-14 victory, which put an end to Leinster's six-match unbeaten run. Dan Biggar was the hero of the day for the home side, as his 14-point haul with the boot proved the difference as his side were outscored by two tries to one.
