Former Hot Press writer and Guardian Football Weekly staple Barry Glendenning is one of the more divisive figures in the JOE office - some find him hilarious, some find him inept. However we had to doff our caps to Glendenning's sharp tweet that added insult to add injury during England's dismal home defeat to bitter rivals France during the week.

As England went a second goal down to the Frenchie's, Glendenning was compelled to tweet:

'Can understand Wembley crowd's frustration, but booing England for being crap is like shouting at a dog for barking #eng'
