Wexford man Chris O’Neill is the brains behind Ireland’s most successful YouTube channel. With more than 650,000 subscribers, he admits to making a ‘very decent living’.

With over 240 million views on of Oney’s Video Hole, the 22 year-old Wexford man can bask in the glory of the Ireland’s most successful channel, with his parodies of video games appealing to the ‘nerds’ as he puts it, which is a big and lucrative market.
“It’s easy to get views on that kind of material, because nerd culture is huge on them. My series, Leo and Satan, is the first original cartoon series I did that got insanely popular,” he told The Irish Examiner.
O’Neill has hopes of breaking into mainstream TV, and is currently pitching the idea in LA, though the current content may be a little too risqué for that market.
The Wexford man has quickly become one of the biggest entrepreneurs in the country, and we should expect to be hearing a lot more about him in the coming future.
Here is a sample of his work and this clip has gathered more than seven million views. Impressive.
