Want to lock yourself away tonight with the TV and a bottle of beer? This is what we think you should be watching this St Stephen's Day.

TV Pick: Top Gear, BBC2, 8pm

The second in this two-part special sees Jeremy, Richard and Captain Slow attempt to follow the path of the Three Wise Men across the Middle East. They start in Iraq and continue in a trio of open top sports cars, each wholly unsuited to Iraq, the conflict ridden mountains of southern Turkey and the searing deserts of Syria.

TV Pick 2: Hardy Bucks, RTÉ TWO, 9.30pm

After a short autumn series that didn't quite deliver what had been hoped for from the lads from Castletown, we've a Christmas special. Hopefully this will be the Bucks at their best. Eddie, Buzz and French Toast save up money for Christmas, but Boo makes an unwise investment that could ruin their plans.

Film Pick: Michael Clayton, RTÉ ONE, 11.50pm

One for the night owls. Earlier in the evening RTÉ ONE are screening PS I Love You, which is a bit too saccharin for us here at JOE Towers. We prefer this intellegent thriller from 2007 starring George Clooney in which a corporate fixer becomes involved in a deadly conspiracy.
