On the back page of The Irish Sun, they have the “World Exclusive” of Real Madrid’s manager Jose Mourinho launching a vicious attack on Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. “You’re a loser Wenger” is the headline.

They quote the Special One as saying that Wenger “should especially explain to Arsenal supporters how he can’t win one single little trophy since 2005”.

The Irish Times leads with a picture of Paul O’Connell. They report that a crowd of 4,000 Munster fans braved the cold to welcome him back into the fold. He made his return after injury for Young Munster last night against Shannon at Thomond Park. He came off the bench for the second half, although his presence wasn’t enough to stop Young Munster from falling just short. Final score Shannon 18 – 17 Young Munster.

The Irish Daily Star reports on Everton boss David Moyes offering David Beckham a return to the Premier League. The offer would see Becks head to the Toffees on loan from LA Galaxy in January.

The Irish Independent similarly leads with pictures of Paul O’Connell’s return. Plus, they have former Ireland rugby coach saying that tomorrow’s match against Argentina offers a chance to “settle old scores”.

“The Pumas did not hide their delight at evicting Ireland from the World Cup in Paris. They beat us deservedly that day. But some of their players could have been a little more dignified in victory,” he says.
