JOE

It’s Wednesday, it’s a weekday so it’s another JOE Double. Read on for selections from the worlds of racing and golf.

Golf first, and Paddy Power’s place only (5 places) market takes our eye. We’re looking at LEE WESTWOOD to follow up on his runners-up finish at the Masters, and two other top-10 finishes this year. The Englishman has a fine record on American  soil, not missing a cut Stateside since the summer of 2006, and he looks a solid selection to turn in a good performance in preparation for next week’s Players’ Championship at Sawgrass.

In racing, we’ve highlighted Redcar’s six-furlong handicap at 4.00 where BONNY PRINCE BLUE is the pick. Dandy Nicholls’s sprinter was a fast-finishing third last time out having been denied a clear passage, and he can make amends today.

JOE’s Daily Double: Lee Westwood (Quail Hollow Championship, Paddy Power’s Place Only market @ 4/1) & Bonny Prince Blue (Redcar, 4.00 @ 6/1)
