TV pick: Gift Grub - Live, TV3, 10pm

JOE Man of the Year awards nominee Mario Rosenstock has been doing his form of impersonation humour for years on the Ian Dempsey Show on Today FM, but for the first time he translates the act to the stage. Luckily, he is as adept at physical impersonations as vocal ones, and the show translates easily to the stage. TV3 are the first Irish channel to show the new stage show.

Sport Pick: Live Carling Cup, West Ham v Manchester United, Sky Sports 1, 7.30pm

No Champions League this week, so attention switches to England's most underrated cup competition, the Carling Cup, where matches are on average more exciting than the FA Cup. Man Utd will be favourites against struggling West Ham, though they are unlikely to play their full team, it is unlikely Alex Ferguson's team will nab seven again.
