8/1 Tonight’s telly

Tonight's picks

TV pick: The Saturday Night Show, RTE One, 10.10pm

Brendan O'Connor's knack of saying the wrong thing and making his guests feel uncomfortable is quite something. Expect awkward silences.

Tonight he has the chance to offend the parents of conjoined Cork twins Hussain and Hassan Benhaffaf.

Sporting pick: Live Magners League Rugby, RTE Two, 7.15pm

Munster face Glasgow Warriors at Musgrave Park and will expect to come away victorious.

The struggling Scots were defeated 43-29 in the reverse fixture at Firhill, with Johne Murphy scoring a brace of tries. Denis Leamy and Niall Ronan also crossed the line and Ronan O'Gara's boot did what was required when asked, adding a further 23 points to the final tally.

Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
