Last week was the obvious exception to the rule, but we have a problem with the recent decision to transfer international football to Friday nights. Why? Well because Saturday afternoons are mind-numbingly dull without the regular football fix to help fill the day.
Heineken Cup fills the void to a certain extent but we can only rely on that for five weekends from now until the end of January, but thankfully filling Saturday afternoons won’t be a problem for a good while yet as the Premier League returns this weekend.
Not everyone is blessed with satellite TV or some elaborate Far Eastern stream over the Internet that could mess up your computer, but the vast majority of us can access a functional radio to keep track of events across the water with Premier League Live on Today FM.
At least one game live on a Saturday, updates from the rest of the matches and plenty of lively debate afterwards, what more could you ask for?
