There is taking the relaxed approach to dressing, and there is failing to even put on a pair of shoes. Kicking off his slippers proved too much of an effort – if those brown-suede-sheep-skin-lined things on his feet are anything to go by. They looked seriously out of place to be worn to a beach-themed red carpet event in the middle of the summer, let alone worn with his biggest t-shirt and board- shorts, that resembled a shiny- ugly ankle length towel.
It is offences such as these that give men in shorts a bad name.  The outfit did nothing for Sandler’s boxy frame, an outfit topped off with the every-which –way miniature hat that he seems to have borrowed off his young son.
Rather than embracing the relaxed beach theme with ease, the hilarious actor, while festering laughs , looks awkward and resembles an over-sized boy that has wandered too far from the local water park.

Oh dear – Sandler’s efforts for the Dublin premiere were not much better. Similar huge t-shirt, flannel shirt and ill-fitting jeans. The lovable actor clearly thinks he is dressing according to his size, but judging by the size of the clothes he chooses. He thinks he is far bigger than he is, a common mistake, he actually makes himself look bigger. That said, there is no excuse for that cap!
