It turns out that strippers and birthday parties do not always mix so well. Not if the party is for a 16 year-old and his friends in New York.
New Yorker Judy Viger was arrested on Monday and charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a childafter hiring two surprise strippers for her son’s 16th birthday party at a upstate bowling alley.
AP had published photos that show a “scantily clad, tattooed woman clinging upside down to a seated teen”.
Neither the 33 year-old’s son, or his friends – or more importantly the parents – had any idea what his mother had arranged for the party and word quickly spread when pictures were published in social media outlets and reports given to local media.
Some of those at the party were as young as 13, while the company that supplied the strippers, the wonderfully named Tops in Bottoms, have said that they were not aware that it was an underage party.
The Bowling Alley might have been the first clue.
