And our try of the week goes to…

After a week’s break in the Six Nations, we are looking forward to a return of international rugby, but we will do well to see a better score than this gem yesterday.

England u-18s put their Scottish counterparts to the sword yesterday in a comprehensive 57-13 win at Darlington, but it was one try in particular that stood out.

London Irish winger Tom Fowlie scored what was undoubtedly the pick of the nine tries, finishing off a flowing move that went the length of the field.

Phase play that would put the All Blacks to shame, Fowlie took the final pass to touch down on the left wing that saw the Scots gallantly chasing shadows.

It would seem that strength in depth at underage level is not an issue for the RFU.
