Barcelona’s main man linked with Chelsea

Chelsea are targetting Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola as a replacement for manager Carlo Ancelotti, according to reports in Telegraph Sport.

Director of Sport, Frank Arnesen, resigned on Saturday and will reportedly be replaced by Barcelona director of football Txiki Begiristain.

Roman Abramovich is said to be hoping to persuade Pep Guardiola to follow his Barca compatriot to Stamford Bride - whether he would be interested or not is another question.

Ancelotti is said to be under pressure at Chelsea, a recent slump in form coinciding with him falling out with the Russian billionaire.
