A lot of people might have complained when it first moved in to the town hall in Bray, but now they’ve been proved wrong with this accolade.

First there was the pride of seeing Katie Taylor take Olympic gold back to Wicklow, and now, there’s been another great accolade awarded to Bray.
According to USA Today, the McDonalds in the town hall is the 5th coolest in the world. Other locations on the list included Rome, a UFO shaped restaurant in Roswell, and of course a few spots in New York.
To be fair to the fast food giant, they do tend to take over some great locations around the world and preserve a lot of the original structure, adding a nice touch of class to the restaurant, which USA Today has recognised in their list, stating that it’s a “picturesque Irish building dating back to the 19th century, [where] McDonald’s has once again found a home in a historic building”.
