Brian O’Driscoll fitness decision to be made Friday

This Friday, a decision will be made as to whether Brian O’Driscoll will be fit to play in Leinster’s clash with Clermont in the Heineken Cup.

The 31-year old injured his jaw in Ireland’s irredeemably boring match against Argentina on 28 November.

Leinster management are monitoring O’Driscoll’s progress carefully and will decide 48 hours before the match if he will play or if he will sit it out.

Jason Harris-Wright, Jamie Heaslip, Cian Healy and Isaac Boss also missed Leinster’s 17-17 draw with Scarlets last week, but are all said to be fit and in contention to play.
