Chelsea bosses dismiss Ancelotti rumours as “nonsense”

Chelsea have described internet rumours that manager Carlo Ancelotti has quit the club as “total nonsense.”

The reports spread like wildfire after the Blues chief admitted he had little or no control in the position.

The Sun today printed Ancelotti’s comments criticising the comparison made between his role and Manchester United’s Alex Ferguson.

"You compare me with Ferguson, it's a different position,” the Italian said.

“Ferguson has total control of the team. I have just technical direction. Full stop. OK?"

Hundreds of websites have claimed Ancelotti is set to walk out of Stamford Bridge, however, this morning the London club dismissed the rumours.
