Digital CV badges will be handed out to attendees at this year’s Career Zoo

Don’t bother printing off one hundred CVs

Good news jobseekers! Career Zoo is coming back to the Convention Centre.

This year, however, the networking event will be a little bit different, as delegates will be given ‘Smart Badges’ allowing them to exchange their CVs with employer profiles electronically.

So don’t waste time, money and paper printing off hundreds of CVs on boring old paper.

The ‘e-CVs’ are actually called ‘Smart badges’ and they will allow delegates and exhibitors to easily swap details with each other, while an event app will provide attendees with a simple platform to connect with exhibitors and view key details about the event.

So what big employers will be at the Career Zoo this year looking for the best talent that Ireland has to offer?

Career Zoo will be attended by a rake of major companies including multinationals: Liberty IT, Ericsson, Citrix, Udemy, Bloomberg Polarlake, J.P. Morgan, SurveyMonkey, Sage, Fidelity Investments and Pramerica as well as Ireland’s leading businesses including Version 1 and Bank of Ireland who are sponsoring the International Finance District.

Leading organisations and education institutes including Trinity Business School and The Open University are also participating in Career Zoo.

It’s also a great opportunity for start-ups to do some networking with some of the biggest companies from all around the world, as well as getting the chance to speak to likeminded people who are currently looking for work. You never know what might happen.

This year’s Career Zoo will take place on Saturday 21st February at the Convention Centre Dublin for one day only from 10am-5pm.

There’s more good news, as admission is completely free. All you have to do is register on the Career Zoo website.
