Gallery: JOE at Harold’s Cross Greyhound Stadium

Earlier this week JOE went for a nice night out at Harold's Cross Greyhound Stadium and we took a few of our readers with us.

We love a good night out with the lads here at JOE and we’re also fond of a bit of good spirited gambling, so on Tuesday last we went out to Harold’s Cross Greyhound Stadium with our sisters from other misters at Her.ie and we had an bloody great time.

A few of the lads in JOE Towers are expert tipsters (when they feel like it) so we didn’t do too badly when it came to picking the right pups – safe to say a few winning rounds were also bought to say thanks for the tips. Now, having said that, none of us came home millionaires, but we had great crack and it was well worth the laugh.

We even had our own JOE.ie race, race no.7 on the night, and it saw Highview Option coming home 1st in a time of 29.88 seconds. After the race ended we headed down to the track to award his owner, Mr Danny Cawley, the winning prize.

After the presentation of Highview Option's swanky new JOE.ie race coat, we went back up to the bar to have a bit of banter with our loyal readers (that’s you!) and to stick a few more quid down on the final races of the night.

All in all, it was absolutely great craic and we’ll definitely be heading back to the dogs for a night out soon enough. Hopefully we’ll see you there...
