Lyon beat Real Betis 1-0 tonight in the Europa League but the moment of the match was undoubtedly this stunning second-half effort by Yoann Gourcuff.
The ball fell to the French international just on halfway and he absolutely lashed a vicious curling volley over the keeper and into the net. It was a simply sensational strike.
Sadly, a foul by team-mate Bafetimbi Gomis was called just before Gourcuff struck, meaning his supreme skill counted for naught.
