Well, he’s done it!

Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster has broken a Scottish top flight ‘clean sheet’ record that has stood for 43 years

Back in the 1970-71 season Bobby Clark of Aberdeen saw his side go unbeaten for 15 games and he didn’t have to retrieve the ball from the back of the net for a staggering 1155 minutes.

Forster needed to shut Hearts out for 31 minutes at Tynecastle to break the record, and he managed it as both sides went in scoreless at half-time.

The former Newcastle United goalkeeper has not conceded a league goal since November.

Celtic won the match 2-0, thanks to goals from Leigh Griffiths and Teemu Pukki.
