Jenas scores a belter as the Great Escape still on for QPR

They have been nothing short of awful for the majority of the season, but QPR claimed a valuable three points today in style.

On what was a hugely significant day in the bottom half of the table, Aston Villa overcame Reading while Artur Boruc saved a last minute penalty from Grant Holt as Norwich and Southampton finished goalless, but QPR were impressive in beating Sunderland 3-1.

Jermaine Jenas scored a peach of a goal at the death to renew hope for the Loftus Road outfit, and maybe, just maybe Harry can be the saviour he always hoped he’d be.

No doubt he will claim it was a ‘triffic’ win against a ‘top, top side’.
