Comedian Jimmy Carr has announced a string of dates around Ireland for later this year.
Carr, known for his ruthless put-downs and brilliantly un-PC one-liners, announced Irish nine shows among a range of dates around the UK.h
The shows will run through November and December 2010 and kick off with appearances in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on Friday 4 November and in Derry’s Millennium Forum the following evening.
Other cities on his stop-off list include Wexford, Dublin, Limerick and Cork.
Carr told his Twitter followers today, “I’m what they call a ‘plastic paddy’ with “Irish Blood English Heart”. So these Irish gigs are a sort of homecoming.”
