Miami Heat equalled the second best winning run in NBA history last night with a narrow win over the Celtics with Lebron James again to the fore.
By Declan Whooley
Miami left Boston with their 23rd consecutive win and are undefeated since February 1st, though they did it by the skin of their teeth, edging past with a scoreline of 105-103.
LeBron James was again central to all things good for Miami, scoring 37 points on the night including the game winning basket with 10.5 seconds to go.
One of those score included this monster alley-oop dunk that left Jason Terry floored. James was given a technical foul for the manner in which he stood over the Celtics player to taunt him, the sixth such offence he has picked up this season.
Only one team boast a superior record than this Heat side, and that record could prove a tall order. The LA Lakers side in 1971/72 won an incredible 33 games in a row, but with the way Miami are playing at the moment, they will give it a good go.
